Changes to our Starter Plan

Updated yesterday

What’s changing with Rocket Starter

Rocket Starter (our 2Mbps unlimited data plan) has been part of our lineup from the start, and it’s been incredibly popular.

From 31 March 2026, Starter will no longer be available for new customers, or new connections for existing customers.

😁 If you already have a Rocket Starter plan

No sweat, you can keep your plan at its current price as long as it continues to renew successfully each month.

To avoid your Starter plan failing to renew, make sure your auto-renew is switched ON and your payment method is up to date with sufficient funds.

If your plan ever lapses or you change plans, you can still get back onto Starter - just reach out to our team via Live Chat and we’ll sort it for you.

😔 If you DON’T already have a Rocket Starter plan

Whether you’re an existing or new customer, unfortunately we can’t offer any new Starter plans from 31 March 2026.

FAQ

Why isn’t Rocket Starter available anymore?

Due to the high demand for Starter, we’re no longer able to continue offering it while maintaining the experience we want to deliver.

Because of this, it’s no longer available to new customers or new connections from 31 March 2026.

I’m a new customer, can I still get Rocket Starter?

From 31 March 2026, Rocket Starter is no longer available to new customers signing up for the first time, you can take advantage of Group Plans to get discounted pricing on Rocket, Plus or Max plans, for even faster unlimited data.

I bought a Starter plan but haven’t activated it yet, can I still activate on Starter?

If you’ve already purchased a SIM with Starter selected, make sure you activate it before 30 April 2026 to secure the plan. This is a final activation window for customers who have already selected Starter.

I’m already on Rocket Starter, can I stay on it?

Yes, existing Rocket Starter customers can stay on their plan. The easiest way to enjoy smooth sailing on Starter is to ensure your payment card isn’t expired and has sufficient funds, so your Starter plan can renew successfully on every billing date.

I’m a current Rocket Starter customer but my plan lapsed, can I get it back? How?

If your Starter plan didn’t renew on your billing date and you’d like to get it back, get in touch with us via Live Chat (Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm) and our team can help restore it for you, provided the connection was previously on Starter.

Starter reinstatement is no longer available via self-service, so you’ll need to contact us to have it reapplied.

I’m an existing customer, can I add a new Rocket Starter connection to my account?

From 31 March 2026, Starter will no longer be available for any new connections. Only existing connections already on Starter can remain on the plan. If you’re a current customer and want to add a new Starter connection to your account, you won’t be able to.

Do you have any cheaper plans than Rocket (10Mbps)?

If you don’t use a lot of data, you can try our Capped plans.

If I upgrade to another plan, can I switch back to Starter later?

If you’re currently on Starter and switch to another plan, you can move back to Starter later by contacting us via Live Chat.

As Starter is no longer available via self-service, our team will need to apply this for you.
