Our network partner One NZ has been working hard over the long weekend to restore connectivity following the severe weather across parts of the country.
Most services are now back to normal, with only a small number of sites still affected. Southland has been fully restored, though some sites around the country remain on generator power while mains power is being reconnected.
A temporary satellite service is still active from Palmerston North southwards and is expected to remain in place for a short period.
We’ll continue to monitor updates from One NZ and keep this article refreshed as the remaining sites return to normal. You can also view the latest information on affected areas on our network partner One NZ’s Outage info page: https://one.nz/help/network-status/
