What is the port-in offer?

When you bring your number over to Rocket Mobile and activate one of our monthly Unlimited plans during the promo period (6 - 31 August), you’ll save for the next 12 months!

How do I get it?

To qualify for the port-in offer:

  1. Buy one of our Unlimited monthly Rocket, Rocket Plus or Rocket Max plans when you purchase your SIM;

  2. Activate your plan;

  3. Port/bring your number to us before the promo ends;

  4. Our team will then make sure your new plan is applied to your account and you will enjoy your discounted plan from the next billing cycle after your port-in is successful.

Important things to note:

  • If you purchase your plan and activate within the promo period but port later (outside of the promo period) you won’t be eligible.

  • The discount applies for 12 billing cycles starting after your port is completed successfully. After 12 months, your plan price will revert to the regular single or group discounted rate.

How does the offer work?

Simply activate a new monthly Rocket, Rocket Plus or Rocket Max plan and transfer your number to us within the promo period. Once your number transfer’s done, we’ll apply a $10 off per month discount on your plan for 12 months. That’s it!

What plans can I get this offer on?

Rocket (10Mbps), Rocket Plus (40Mbps) and Rocket Max (max speed) pay upfront monthly plans.

How long is this offer available for?

We can’t say exactly when the offer will end yet, so grab it quickly while you can! Keep an eye on this website, once we have an end date we’ll post it here, so you can check how much time you have left to redeem.

What if I’m already a customer?

This offer is for new connections which transfer an existing number to us. Existing customers will be eligible if they add a new connection to their account and also transfer a number to us.

If you’re an existing customer who hasn’t already transferred their number over, but are thinking about doing it now, give us a shout on Live Chat and we’ll see what we can do.

What if I already transferred my number over before the offer started?

If you’ve just missed out on the promo window, contact us via Live Chat and we’ll do our best to help.

What if I don’t have a number to transfer, can I still get the offer?

Unfortunately this offer is only valid if you transfer a number across to us. Check out our Group Plans and Friend Referral program (which don’t stack with this offer) for some other ways to save.

When do I have to transfer my number over by?

You’ll have to complete your number transfer before the end of the promo period to be eligible, so we’d recommend you do it as soon as you activate to make sure you get the discount. Keep an eye on this website for the offer end date, we’ll post it here when we can.

What if I had issues transferring my number?

If you started the number transfer process before the end of the promo period, we’ll make sure you still get the discount. Just reach out to our Live Chat team to let us know, and we’ll sort it out.

When do I start getting the discount?

You’ll start getting your discount from the next bill after your number transfer is complete. That means you’ll activate at the regular plan price, before the discount kicks in after your number transfer. After 12 months, your plan will revert to its regular price again.

What happens after 12 months, if I’m on the offer?

Your plan will revert to its regular price. If you’re in a group, this means it’ll go onto the group plan price, so make sure you’re in one before the 12 months is up to keep saving!

What happens if my plan lapses, i.e. doesn’t renew on its billing date?

If your plan doesn’t successfully renew on your billing date, i.e. your payment card expired or had insufficient funds, the discount will drop off from your plan and you won’t be able to get it back if you’re outside the promo period.

So make sure your payment card is correct so your plan ticks over smoothly every month to keep saving!

What if I cancel my plan early?

Unlike some providers, we won’t force you to pay back the discount you already enjoyed for the months you were with us.

But if you change your mind and come back, unfortunately you won’t be able to get the discount back - so stick with us to keep saving!

What if I change my plan?

If you change your plan during the 12 months, even if it’s to another eligible plan, the discount will drop off.

If you’re planning to upgrade to a faster plan, please ping us on Live Chat and we’ll see what we can do to make sure you’re still getting the best price possible.

Can I still get a Group Plan discount with the offer?

No, unfortunately the bring your number offer doesn’t stack with our Group Plan discount. However, if you’re in a group, we’ll automatically apply whatever discount saves you more money for your plan.

That means for Max, you’d get the group discount, but for Rocket and Plus, it’d be the bring your number discount for 12 months, if you’re eligible.

Can I still get a Friend Referral credit with the offer?

No, unfortunately the bring your number offer doesn’t stack with our friend referral credit offer. But do keep the friend referral credit in mind if you want to bring a friend to Rocket Mobile after this offer ends.
